Nov 01, · I decided to move Ark to my SSD, since some people have said it helps with the massive lag you get in SP when the game loads in a new area. A quick check shows that it does seem to have resulted in some improvements, but now I can't get Ark to download any mods. I used the Steam backup feature to move it to the SSD (backup, uninstall, reinstall in new location).
